As a group, the Chelsea players have been rather close in the past few years, even in spite of the lack of stability.

The "spine" of the side remains, with Petr Cech, John Terry and Frank Lampard amassing 36 years at the club between them. Add into the mix the likes of Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba both becoming integral parts of the club, the Chelsea players have become a group, and therefore a group that like to party.
They've had a lot to celebrate, with their Champions League triumph in May 2012 a highlight and a perfectly apt reason to party way into the early hours.
But infamous incidents, involving Terry and Lampard especially as youngsters, have at times tarnished their careers off the pitch.
And as it's Friday, we take a look into discovering who is the ultimate party-goer amongst the Blues squad.

6. Josh McEachran

Okay, so Josh McEachran isn't exactly a "wild party boy," given that he's a fairly well-behaved 21-year-old who hails from Oxford.
But the highly-rated England Under-21 international does enjoy a glamorous lifestyle off the pitch with his soapstar girlfriend Brooke Vincent.
Vincent, also 21, plays a teenage star on Merseyside-based soap Corination Street, and has shot to fame in recent years with some wild antics on the TV screen.
Needless to say, McEachran hasn't exactly gone wild himself, but the Chelsea youngster knows how to fit in with the star-studded crowd when suited and booted alongside his long-term partner.

5. Frank Lampard

Like his teammate Josh McEachran—well, like most footballers actually—Frank Lampard has a partner who features on TV, or who is generally just a celebrity.
But before he met Christine Bleakley, who works on shows such as Daybreak and Dancing On Ice, Lampard had a wild streak in him, which includes a shameful time 11 years ago.
Himself, John Terry and former Blues Jody Morris and Eidur Gudjohnsen were shamed after being pictured partying in an airport bar on the eve of the 9/11 attacks, acting drunk and disorderly, and were subsequently condemned by the club for their behaviour.
Since then, Lampard has toned down his partying to the odd night out with his Chelsea teammates, with his two daughters (with ex-fiancee Elen Rives) and current fiancee Bleakley at home.
Now 35 years old, a more mature figure has emerged, but that's not to say Lampard doesn't know how to party now, does it?

4. John Terry

John Terry is one of the footballers in English football who has had as much of an effect on the pitch as well as off it.
Involved in the 9/11 incident with Frank Lampard and other colleagues, unlike his shamed teammates, Terry has failed to curb his enthusiasm for a night out.
According to this report from The Mirror five years ago, Terry partied at the Funky Buddha into the early hours of the morning.
And he was at the same spot for his 31st birthday, when Chelsea had secured their place in the Champions League knockout stage, with several footballers brought along to celebrate, per the Daily Mail.
Certainly one for a night out and a party, even with his years ticking on, Terry doesn't look like slowing down.

3. David Luiz

If you had any doubts about David Luiz's lifestyle outside of football, that should be all be put to bed now with the image above.
For his and John Obi Mikel's joint 26th birthday party, Luiz insisted that the theme should be fancy dress, and with several football buddies coming along, it was always bound to produce some magical results.
Thanks to Marko Marin, we gain a valuable insight into how the wacky Brazilian defender likes to party in his free time, with a trademark rock gesture in his superb costume.
The party went into the early hours of the morning, with the likes of Eden Hazard (pictured in a Brazil shirt) and Nathan Ake (dressed as Superman), I think we can say for sure that "Sideshow Bob" is a wild child at heart.

2. Ashley Cole

Never one to shy away from the spotlight, Ashley Cole's life off the field appears to get more exciting as he gets older, not less.
This kind of lifestyle was always going to stick with Cole, who divorced from popstar Cheryl Cole back in 2010, after his early days of partying with his Chelsea teammates.
Only back in July, a few weeks after Jose Mourinho's return was announced, was the 32-year-old pictured in Marbella partying with friends, per the Daily Mail.
He was even pictured a couple of years ago in the Playboy nightclub in London with rapper Snoop Dogg, and was rumoured to have received lap dances from twins, per the Daily Mail.
But we simply don't have the time to list every single fraternization Cole has had with women or clubs. All you need to know is that this guy can party until the break of dawn.

1. Didier Drogba

Okay, before you say it, we know Didier Drogba no longer plays for Chelsea. You don't need to rub it in our faces; the wound is still fresh.
But this guy is a genuine god, and we mean that.
Six months after leaving the club for Shanghai Shenhua, Drogba held a party for his teammates who he helped achieve one of the greatest Champions League victories in recent memory.
To commemorate the occasion, Drogba shelled out a whopping £800,000 on exclusive rings for his teammates, per the Daily Mail, and showed his complete generosity as well as tendency to party.
He held a formal dinner for his former colleagues, but previous bashes in the Funky Buddha and other popular clubs in London as well as his grand gesture means that Drogba pips Ashley Cole to the title.
